ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Franklin, IN – Indian Creek High School senior Brandon Barger and Franklin Community High School senior Garret Coner Jr. are 2017 recipients of individual $2,000 academic scholarships awarded by Johnson County REMC.
The two scholarships were presented at the April 22, 2017 Johnson County REMC Annual Business Meeting of Members. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic and personal achievement, and with the submission of an essay covering a relevant electric industry topic.
Brandon plans to study Multimedia Broadcasting at Franklin College, and Garret plans to study Chemical Engineering at Purdue University.
This is the 23rd year for the Johnson County REMC Academic Scholarship Program.
