Available to members located on or near the Corporation’s multi-phase lines for all types of usage, subject to the established Corporation Service Rules and Regulations.

Applicability

Applicable as an optional rate only for large power consumers who have installed transformer capacity in excess of 249 kVA.

Type of Service

Multi-phase 60 hertz at 120/208 or 277/480 volts.

Determination of On-Peak and Off-Peak Energy

On-Peak:

Summer: For the months of June through August, On-Peak Energy shall be all kilowatt- hours used during the period 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST (3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EDT) – Monday through Friday.

Winter: For the months of December through February, On-Peak Energy shall be all kilowatt-hours used during the periods 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. EST and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST – Monday through Friday.

Off-Peak:

Off-Peak Energy shall be all kilowatt-hours used during all hours other than on-peak hours as described above.

Determination of Billing Demand

The member agrees to maintain unity power factor as nearly as practicable. The billing demand shall be the maximum kilovolt-ampere (kVA) demand established by the consumer for any period of fifteen consecutive minutes during the month for which the bill is rendered, as indicated or recorded by a demand meter installed by the Corporation.

Monthly Minimum Charge

The monthly minimum charge under this schedule shall be the amount specified within the payment section of the Electric Service Agreement between the Corporation and Consumer.

    Terms and Conditions

    1. In general, motors having a rated capacity in excess of ten horsepower (10 h.p.) must be three-phase.
    2. In those cases where the consumer is not located adjacent to three-phase lines of the Corporation, service will be rendered only after the following conditions are met.
      • The consumer will give satisfactory assurance by means of a written agreement as to the character, amount and duration of the business offered.
      • In no case, however, will the minimum bill for three-phase service be less than that previously specified under the “Monthly Minimum Charge.”

    Rate Adjustments

    The above rates are subject to rate adjustments stated in Appendix A.

    This schedule is applicable to charges and other terms of service outlined in Appendix B.
