2019 Annual Report
Each year, JCREMC publishes a report of cooperative statistics, financials, and official business. The 2019 report is titled The Cooperative Strength, a nod to our owner-members, democratic and non-profit business structure, community, and state and national cooperative system. 2020 Academic Scholarship Winners
Each year, JCREMC awards two $2,000 academic scholarships to area high school seniors who will further their post-high school education at Indiana institutions in the fall. We’re proud to recognize the academic achievements of these outstanding students.
Tanner Bowman
School: Brown County High School
University: Purdue University
Intended Major: Professional Flight Technology and Aviation Management
Tanner Bowman, a senior at Brown County High School, plans to attend Purdue University in the fall to study Professional Flight Technology and Aviation Management. He has participated in a number of extracurricular activities, including serving as editor of the Talon Online newspaper, editor of Shadows Yearbook, captain of the Super Bowl Academic Team, founder and president of the History Club, and production and sales manager of Eagle Manufacturing. He also has been involved in several community organizations, including 4-H, Boy Scouts, the Brown County Playhouse, Indiana Youth Advisory Council, and Brown County Music Center. Bowman has earned the following honors:
- National Honor Society
- Indiana Brilliant Firefly Award, Indiana Senate Resolution
- Post 6195 VFW Voice of Democracy Winner
- Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance
Bowman is the son of Mark Bowman and Robyn Bowman.
Jenna Hans
School: Center Grove High School
University: Purdue University
Intended Major: Engineering
Center Grove High School senior Jenna Hans heads to Purdue University this fall to study Engineering. During her time at Center Grove, Hans has been a drum major in the marching band, cymbal section leader for Indoor Percussion, and committee chair of Student Government. She also has participated in Pep Band, Spanish Honor Society, and Spanish Club. Outside of school, Hans participated in the Indianapolis Childrens’ Choir for six years. She has earned the following honors:
- Outstanding Academic Achievement Award
- AP Scholar
- National Merit Semifinalist
- Rising Star Indiana
- Student of the Month
Hans is the daughter of Tamara Hans and Michael Hans.
