Academic Scholarship Winners Announced

 

Franklin, IN – Indian Creek High School senior Isaac Jackson and Franklin High School senior Grant Koenig are the recipients of the 2011-12 Johnson County REMC $1,000 academic scholarships.

The scholarships were presented at the April 21 Johnson County REMC annual business meeting of members. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic and personal achievement, and submission of an essay on a topic relevant to the electric industry.

Jackson plans to study Economics at Indiana University Southeast. Koenig will attend the University of Indianapolis.

This is the 18th year for the Johnson County REMC Academic Scholarship program.
