JCREMC is excited to announce another lineup of fantastic organizations that have been selected to receive Operation Round-Up grants.
Since 2019, JCREMC has given members the chance to round up their monthly bills to the nearest dollar, and those extra few cents go into the JCREMC Community Fund. Twice a year, in October and April, the JCREMC Operation Round-Up Advisory Board selects organizations to receive grant funding for projects and programs that benefit the local community.
In May, 13 local organizations were selected to receive grants, with a total of over $56,000 going toward community-oriented projects and programs. We’re so excited to see how they use these projects to help support and benefit our local community:
- Amity Community Volunteer Fire Department – Lockers for Equipment
- City of Franklin Fire Department – Exercise Equipment
- Franklin Community High School Choral Booster – New Piano
- Greenwood Education Foundation – Mental Health Week Shirts
- Indian Creek High School – Wireless Headsets
- Indiana FFA Foundation – ADA Compliant Furnishings
- Indianapolis Crimson Knights Football, Inc. – Helmets and Shoulder Pads
- Joshua Center – Hope Care Kits
- Resources of Hope – Hope for the Holidays Program
- Tara Treatment Center – Sober Living Program
- The Town of Prince’s Lakes Parks Department – Community Garden
- Trafalgar Volunteer Firemen, Inc. – Particulate Hoods
