Furthering Education

The JCREMC Academic Scholarship Program exists to encourage graduating high school seniors to pursue further education and career training, while also raising awareness of the importance of the cooperative business model. This year, JCREMC will award three academic scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each to local high school seniors whose parents or guardians are JCREMC members, and who will attend an in-state college, university, or trade school after graduation.

Please click here to complete and submit your 2026 JCREMC Academic Scholarship application, opening on Monday, December 15, 2025. All application materials must be uploaded, delivered to the JCREMC office, or postmarked by Monday, February 2, 2026.

All essays must be written in MLA format, be a minimum of 500 words, include cited sources, and be based off one of the prompts listed on the application. Applicants must ensure that their names are listed at the top of their essay. Dependents of JCREMC/JCFiber employees or board members are not be eligible to apply.
