Outages

Johnson County REMC is devoted to keeping members informed about power outages. We will also provide information for large planned outages. A planned outage occurs when we perform line maintenance or upgrades to our system. Outages that affect only a small number of customers may not be listed. Johnson County REMC reminds members to stay away from all downed lines and call the office immediately. If you should have any questions regarding an outage, please contact our office.

Planned/Recent Outages

The outage that occurred the morning of Sunday, November 20 in White River Township was caused by a squirrel in the Mullinex substation. The outage affected approximately 1,300 consumers from 8:40 to 9:40 am.

  • Contact REMC at 317-736-6174.
