Johnson County REMC is devoted to keeping members informed about power outages. We will also provide information for large planned outages. A planned outage occurs when we perform line maintenance or upgrades to our system. Outages that affect only a small number of customers may not be listed. Johnson County REMC reminds members to stay away from all downed lines and call the office immediately. If you should have any questions regarding an outage, please contact our office.

The outage was caused by a pole fire on the transmission line feeding the substation. Power was restored to all customers by 12:45 AM
