Johnson County REMC is dedicated to keeping members informed about power outages. In addition to unplanned power interruptions, we also provide information regarding large planned outages. A planned outage occurs when we perform line maintenance or upgrades to our system.
Johnson County REMC reminds members to stay away from downed power lines, and to report any adverse condition you see on our system.
If you have any questions regarding an outage, please contact our office.

Power outages are usually infrequent and brief, but there are times your service may be interrupted. When an outage occurs, restoration of service is our priority. When you experience a power outage, check first for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers. If these are in order, contact REMC 24/7 at 317-736-6174. Our crews will restore service as soon as they are able. Please be patient.
