Wind Turbine

Wind Turbine

Wind turbines use blades to collect the wind’s kinetic energy. The blades are connected to a drive shaft that rotates an electric generator to make electricity. Similar to solar panels, wind turbines do not produce air pollutants therefore they have a small impact on the environment. However, wind fluctuates; turbines are relatively large in size causing a visual impact on landscaping and are expensive.

The Wind Turbine experienced maintenance issues from April 6th 2010 until August 13th 2010. To see the Wind Turbine maintenance logs Click Here

The average residential usage is 40 kWh per day.
