Appliance Calculator

Johnson County REMC has added a new tool to our website. The new Appliance Calculator gives you a fast, accurate analysis of the operating cost of the appliances in your home. Or, use the calculator to find out what that new big screen TV or washer and dryer will cost to use.

Located on the lower right corner of the home page of our website, just click on the icon labeled Appliance Calculator. Once you are in the calculator you will see a drop down menu with electric rates. For the most accurate estimate based on our rates, select $0.105. You may use the preset wattages, or enter the exact wattage of your appliance. The results are intended to be estimates but do portray a close approximation of operating cost.

We have talked a lot about energy conservation. This new feature on our website gives our members just one more way to manage their energy use and energy choices.
